Dear Readers,

It’s my pleasure to invite you experience our fourth, quarterly issue of our boutique publication, Satiety Paper: The Spring Fling. The journey has been an exciting and inspiring one; discovering brilliant new talents to bring you, and continuously growing up with our past contributors along side. Satiety Paper, which aimed to bring class, artistry and delicious sensuality to our audience, since the beginning…is now embarking on the final release of our first year. With the summer, new changes to our style, categories and format will begin to blossom. Subscriptions will go on sale at the end of this issue, and the following issue will mark our first, subscription only, collection. As the final public issue, The spring fling is bursting with beauty, and juicier than ever! We will be bringing back some of your favorite contributors and adding new members to our team, to support the upcoming subscription platform which will launch in summer.

As we roll out the first tastes of this incredible addition, it is an honor to welcome back Lucas Passmore, shooting for our cover editorial; with earth shattering new temptress, Brianna Stone as the muse. Meet fashion’s new demigoddess, Brianna Stone. If the term ‘the body’ hadn’t already been coined by the infamous Heidi Klum…we would declare Miss Stone as the original. The Satiety Paper team experienced her for the first time, through the portfolio updates of Lucas Passmore (a master craftsman of the lens). Not only does Lucas routinely turn out some of the most timeless fashion pieces by an upcoming artist…but the way he pulls together the team for each of his editorials, has a way of blending rare and unpredictable elements of perfection into a mesmerizing final product.  ‘Lost Lake’ is a perfect example; framing raw elements of nature to serve as an exquisite backdrop for the intoxicating suppleness of our dame. The pairing of organic beauty, both in his subject and in the surrounding landscape, create a fluid harmony, right before the eye. Here at Satiety Paper, we are unable to suspend our disbelief that this mind-blowing beauty, Elle Bowman, isn’t wallpapering the industry!!! Discovered for this piece by exploding visual artist, Benjamin Askinas, Elle is one of the most unique, captivating and womanly subjects that we have ever had the privilege of featuring. Her supple curves are unrelenting; her soft, doe-eyed features are stunning from each and every angle…and the ease with which she inhabits her gorgeous body is virtually supernatural. We wouldn’t have the pleasure of reveling this new feminine phenomenon to our readership, if it weren’t for Benjamin’s exceptional aesthetic precision, that pinpointed something very special in her. Benjamin (who has previously contributed flawless, female portraiture to our Paper) has bestowed upon Satiety, the honor of introducing this private and personal peek into a moment of unabashed indulgence; with the kind of astonishing seductress, that most of us will never share a shower with. To compliment our, already extremely delectable, additions to the Spring Fling issue of Satiety Paper, nothing was more fitting than incorporating another ‘Perfect 10′. The thanks for this gorgeous feature goes to Libertine and Satiety Paper alum, Erik Tranberg. An original and constant source of inspiration since the birth of the Libertine, Erik routinely turns out memorable and heavy hitting imagery; worthy of wallpapering our entire office in the prints! For Satiety Paper #4, Erik requisitioned the up-and-coming Russian sensation, Lada Kravchenko (who has worked with such infamous photographic talents as David Bellemere, Herring + Herring, and Filippo Del Vita – to name a few) as his muse and partner in crime. With her naturally sultry aura and unrelentingly perfect figure, Lada could easily steal a screen of any size; making this collection even more punchy for our paper. Erik surpasses his past triumphs with this new editorial, fit for the likes of Victoria’s Secret. Sleek black leather mixed with modern, structured under-pinnings…miles of smooth skin, tousled hair and a sharp pair of smoky eyes…strike an opulent chord for the story’s undertone. Mile long legs stretched delicately across a thousand threads of Egyptian cotton, lanky stunner Carleen Laronn tosses a tumbling cascade of chestnut locks over one shoulder. Punctuated by the dazzling gleam of an intricate bauble, her long neck line bends elegantly away from the daring plunge of a balconette. Through smokey eyes, Carleen smiles coyly into the frame of photographer Dana Pennington. In every direction, opulence accents the setting. Flanked by an indulgent oasis of classic glamor, our model is pinned up in (and stripped down to) frothy lace, strapping elastic and sky high stilettos. With champagne chilling on ice, pleasure was paramount in the creation of this sultry series; which is an aspect, reflected effortlessly throughout the images. The artist finesses a familiar rapport with his subject; and in doing so, he captures so much more within his creation, than just Carleen’s enviable aesthetic. Stefano Fabbri returns to Satiety Paper with a lovely new studio set featuring the Paper’s alum, Joanne N. The story highlights the fluidity of the model’s powerful physique; spotlighting her as the focus, in white underpinnings, lingerie basics and  the application of strong contrasts. The highlight on Joanne’s figure allows the details of the dark background to exist with subtlety, and to support the journey of the eye, rather than detract from it. We found these strong and simple (black and white) images immediately reminiscent of some of Lindbergh newest, and most memorable, studio sets; with the addition of a modern edge. The absence of complicated adornments, directs focus to the discretely seductive tone of the portrayal…without overwhelming the artistic composition. As if she were a visionary sculptor of stone, Margherita Loba chips away the layers of pretense that disguise the spirit concealed within her medium. Bringing forth the artistic destiny of  her subject, Margherita spins the natural world as reflected in her lens, into the intoxicating portrayal of an idyllic garden of Eden. In the nature of our namesake, this series of images purely satiates the craving for a whimsical daydream. The Romanesque paradise would not be so entirely perfect without the delightful musing of our wood nymphs: models Juliet B. and Sara P. They appear joyfully uninhibited, frolicking and filled to the brim with carefree abandon. The lyrical exposure of nature and skin, life, sunlight and playfulness, make the collection an enchanting spring mirage. There is nothing quite as intoxicating as the supple curves of a  womanly body. If you add the face of an angel, you’d have something very close to our sweet Natasha here. Her soft figure is in perfect harmony with the gauzy, dreamlike quality of Marco Michieletto‘s photography. He’s continuously discerning the gentleness within his subjects, and subtly extrapolating on that quality. Artist Interview

1. Can you describe yourself for us in 5 words?

Patient, Open, Reticent , Thoughtful, Honest

2. Can you remember the first time you picked up a camera? Your first subject?

My first subject was my old friend from school; in 2007. She was a beautiful woman, and I wanted to show her how I experienced her beauty.

3. What made you choose photography? Or did it choose you?!

I don’t know who choose whom. I believe that it was just a life coincidence, a good coincidence. I studied architecture originally, but after a few years I realized it wasn’t my life’s mission. Then I decided to give my beloved hobby a try, and explore whether or not it might be the right direction for my life. To be honest, I never thought this career would develop so quickly.

4. Are you drawn to a particular style of photography, as a connoisseur? Are there specific artists that inspire your style?

There are a few photographers who are my absolute inspirations like Helmut Newton, Steven Meisel, Peter Lindberg, Paolo Roversi. I’d say I have a classical style of photography, but I’m open to experiencing new techniques.

5. Do you prefer shooting with models or with friends? And when you do shoot models…favorite agencies to work with, or specific subjects?

I never have restrictions to a model or not; if I a see a beautiful person (who may be a friend, an acquaintance or a professional) I would just ask to take an image of him/her. Job-wise: of course I work more often with professional models, but also many actresses, bloggers and other civilians.The agencies that I work with most are: M4, 2PM, Core, Izaio, Spin and a lot of independent scouters.

6. Also: is it easier to shoot men or women? Why?!

For me, there is zero difference (in the sex of the model); if its man or a woman. It’s about the beautiful human being.

7. Where do we find you living these days?

I live in the city of Berlin! Of course, I travel a lot and working in many different places, in different countries, around the world. Mostly I am in Berlin.

8. Favorite environment to work in…Studio or on location?

My studio gives me a great feeling of control, power and security; and sometimes for the model, it is easier to open up in the studio. Of course, I also love location shootings. Even if I’m on a vacation, if I spot an amazing setting, I go crazy to try and find a model for a few shots.

9. Do you have an intuitive way to identify a location for your shoots? When you see it, does it just feels right to you? Or are there different planning/ selection steps

involved?

I think every photographer or creative mind has this intuition. You just see it and it’s like: “Damn, so here it shall be!”. But it doesn’t always work out. I check the lighting and then I do some test shots, so I can see if the images that are produced, match the vision that I’ve imagined.

10. Do you love the control of diverse lighting set ups, or do you prefer working with natural light?

I love the control of creating in my studio, yes. But there is nothing in this world as beautiful as the magical light of a natural sunset. There is no artificial light arrangement that can simulate that!

11. As a very successful photographer already…What’s “the dream” Anna?

First, thank you for asking me this question. I don’t think I’m of myself as being a ‘successful’ photographer yet; but I will assert that I am on my way there! My dream is to have no walls inhibiting me from unlimited creation: no model or celebrity that I  wouldn’t be able to work with. That fantasy would include the greatest clients in the world, and being appreciated by the worlds most creative minds.

12. Finally, on a personal note, tell us your favorite things: vacationing spot, type of music, a splurge, a designer you love, and or your drink of choice (if you have one)?!

Vacation: Somewhere very very warm; with a beautiful beach!

Splurge: Shoes

Music: Madonna, Depeshe Mode, Trentemoller
